CJFS, Collat Jewish Family Services, CARES Respite program’s Music & Movement teacher, Melissa, instructs participants with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s or stroke through a fun and lively routine of movements that can be done from the safety of a chair. Melissa comes to CARES through the UAB Arts in Medicine program.
CJFS CARES exercise instructor leads activities for older participants who have dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or stroke. These exercises are designed to be performed while seated. CJFS CARES is a respite program of Collat Jewish Family Services.
