Parenting with Purpose

This 6-week program helps parents build skills and strategies to better connect with and support their children, while also setting healthy boundaries, fostering resiliency, and reducing anxiety.
It is led by CJFS Social Worker Amy Neiman, LMSW, who is trained in the Yale SPACE model (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions).

Normally valued at $600 per family, the workshop is being fully underwritten by the Elaine and Debra Rosen Mental Health Fund of the Birmingham Jewish Foundation.

Participation is limited to 12 families.

  • Childcare provided for ages 4+

  • Kosher snacks served

  • $36 per family

  • Deadline to register is Friday, Oct 17
