Alison Berman, Development Director
Alison Berman, Development Director at CJFS, started with the organization in 2010. Alison holds a Master of Arts in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of Alabama. She has worked with non-profits since 1994 in the area of development. At CJFS, Alison oversees the Outreach services, to raise community awareness of CJFS and funds for our programs that assist those individuals and families touched by the organization.

Margy Sugar, ESL Coordinator
Margy Sugar, with support from Shirley Aaron and Donna Goldberg, coordinated the English as a Second Language (ESL) program for immigrants residing in the greater Birmingham area. Our teachers are talented volunteers from the community. They develop lessons, train and manage volunteer teachers, and organize field trips and cultural programs for the students, e.g., trips to Birmingham's Art Museum, Jewish holiday celebrations with N.E. Miles school children. Margy became coordinator of the program in October 2007 after serving 2 years as a volunteer teacher.
Levoy Williams, Buz-A-Bus Driver
Levoy Williams is the driver for the CJFS Buz-A-Bus Transportation Program. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from the University of Montevallo. Levoy joined the Collat Jewish Family Services team in June 2012 and can be seen driving the Buz-A-Bus around town M-F.
